Does anyone have an answer, or experience of this phenomenon? Recently my PC (P166, Ami Bios, Win98se) has been switching itself on spontaneously at random intervals after being closed down. At first I thought I must be going crazy and imagining that I had closed it down, but NO -- the last couple of times I have checked carefully. Everything switched off normally, no LEDs were on, no hard disk whirring - I've checked it with the case open and there's no activity at all. Only thing I didn't do was to pull the mains plug. A couple of hours later, still no activity - but hey presto, when I got up in the morning the computer had switched itself on again. Weird ...
Any ideas?
