Howdie ... I'll re-word the question so it is clearer to the group: I'm using Netscape 4.76; I don't know if the browser type matters. I'm in the Geocities file manager and might want to upload a file, or group of files, from the computer to use in my website. When one wants to upload a file from the computer, one gets a window (File Upload) asking where the file is located, the file name, and the file type.
Seems the default "File of type" is always HTML Files with a down arrow showing many other types of files INCLUDING ... All Files (*.*) The way it is now, I have to keep clicking "All Files" for each file I upload, even if uploading 20 files (the maximum permitted on any one upload). What I would like to do is make that "All Files (*.*) the default file type instead of "HTML Files" ... question is, can this be done, and if yes, how? I like to think I can make this computer do anything I want it to do; the directions have to come from *someplace* in the system.
