In win95 OE5 there is no http option when setting up mail account. So I found how to alter the registry by going to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OUTLOOK EXPRESS It says to look for HTTP MAIL ENABLE If not there to add it as a DWORD. It wasn't there so I added it and then changed the 0 to a 1 I rebooted the computer but still don't have an http option. What could I have done wrong? Since I can't get hotmail.com to work I opened an email account at Yahoo and I can get the mail imported to OE5 just fine. But I can't send mail. Is this where I need to click the box that says "My server needs to something authentication" ? Thanks Vern ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
