Hi again! I am still battling with my problems! Today I couldn't load windows
(95). All I got was the pale blue windows background without the
desktop.Eventually I managed to re-install windows but it is not quite right!
When I boot up I get as far as the windows logo and then it goes to a black
screen which says " a device file that is specified in the system.INI file is
damaged (c\windows\system\VMM32\NTKERN.VXD) If I 'hit any key" it takes me
into windows but I am sure that the damaged file must be important. Where do I
go from here (apart from throwing the computer out the window!!!)
