Upgrade your ram, add another 64 or 128 and you will see a definite performance improvement. For example you have 64 mb and win98 uses 32 for itself so 32 is left for other programs which will be absorbed quite quickly. If for example you have Norton AV 2002 running in the background then this program on it's own is continually consuming approx 10 mb ram.
Ram is still affordable, so if you can afford it then make the upgrade.
