I have been attempting to remove IE6 from my computer (Win98) and go back to an earlier version. In the process it deleted from Control Panel Add/Remove but did not leave any indication in Add/Remove of any version of Internet Explorer being left installed . I have reinstalled IE6 in an effort to get something back into Add/Remove so that I would have access to the Repair and Reinstall feature but nothing showed up in Add/Remove. Does anyone know how I can restore IE to Add/Remove. In addition where can one find what version of IE that is installed other than in Add/Remove. Many thanks for your help.
