Peter, you don't use an AV program that scans @ boot? I did check the config.sys, but it was blank as usual, always is for me. (At least I've never seen it any other way). -Clint

Also as Ralph suggests you should look through your config.sys for invalid entries as well. I normally dump the autoexec file anyways to speed up startup.
