And --In addition to Gerry's excellent advice.. The boot screen
you "may" see on startup is an image that is stored in the bios.

I have an emachine, probably comparable to a Tiny, which I do
have a full W98se version installed. 

The emachine logo still loads on boot. 

You probably will need to use the Tiny restore disk for drivers
for your onboard hardware.
