Yep I agree if you are connected  to the Net.  then File Sharing over TCP/IP
is not a good idea.  If  using a NAT type router and blocking NetBios port
139 and NetBIOS traffic to UDP ports 137 and 138 with strong password
protected Shares and a firewall like Zone Alarm http://www.zonelabs.com/
installed on each connected machine it. File sharing over TCP/IP should be
ok as well. Just remember don't get lazy and share without protection.  If
you are a belt and suspenders type ;o) then use NetBeui or IPX/SPX. But
still keep share protection with strong passwords.
