I though it was *69. I'm not familiar right off hand with any software that does this (I haven't used a dialup in 3 yrs), but we have some V.92 modems in that do this. "Modem On Hold" (switch between modem and an incoming phone call without losing the data connections). Please email off list if you want more info.
Ok, go to www.hotfiles.com and enter call waiting and you'll see some things. http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2349-4720306.html?tag=lst -0-2 -Clint God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I know this is going to sound strange, but does anyone know how I can force call waiting to interrupt my connection to my ISP? I do not use *70 to disable call waiting. I put the following in the extra settings of my modem, ATS10=1 thinking that any interruption more than one tenth of a second would disconnect me but it does not. When someone calls me the person calling just gets the ringing sound and nothing happens on my end. Am I going to have to break down and buy something like the Catch-A-Call device?
