Hi all, I finally found a way to stop "image preview" in ME from opening ALL image formats and getting IE do it as it did on 98.
But now, I cannot change the image icons to the way they should be, all images now have the 'blue e' IE icon instead of the jpeg, gif, png, etc., icons. There is no option to change this in folder options AFTER you change the program association. BEFORE you change the program association there IS an "advanced" button which enables you to change the icon, but that changes to 'restore' after you set IE to open images! How does one change the icons so ALL images won't have the identical 'blue e' icon?
