Regarding < http://www.geocities.com/buddychai/Computer1.html#COMPTR > and my posting error.
"Harold why did you post that? [some posting to the group re links on sites] I sent it to you privately. (I asked because I was checking the links at my site; and checked your link and didn't see mine on the page of yours I have linked [tips page]. I thought it used to be on that page). - -Clint" Just want the group to know that immediately after sending the post to the group, I realized that he posted it privately (I'm so accustomed to seeing Clint's postings associated with PCWorks that I assumed it came from the group). And you all know what Felix Unger said about "assume" ... Anyway, it was the email that followed (the digest from PCWorks) that allerted me to my mistake, after which I sent him a private email appologizing for the error. Goes to show, when it comes to email, it's easier to retrieve snail mail from the post office than to retrieve email for cyberland. Once it goes out, that's it. So all is well now, and I have a couple of new links on the site. Now what am I going to do about all those "external" links on who-knows-how-many-pages that are no longer functioning; I need a cyber-secretary to keep checking on them. Now let's put the matter to rest; too many people have too many problems of greater import. Harold B. ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
