Thanks, guys, for the suggestions which I will follow up. It may be that URLOrg is just what I need.
Clint, I was looking for something better than that useless little "organize favorites" window. It doesn't even have a maximize button, so to get a usable space you have to take the mouse and drag out all four sides of it. Every time! Otherwise you need the hand of a brain surgeon to work with the Favorites feature. I haven't looked at Netscape since it went down the tubes several years ago, and I've forgotten what that window was called, but it's interesting that it made better use of a Windows-style interface than anything MS has devised for IE.
