Hi Folks, A rather odd thing has been happening with my system lately. I am running a PC Pentium II, 650 Mhz, 256 Ram, ATX Power supply - OS = Win98SE with all the patches.
When I do the shutdown routine, the system responds correctly, shuts down and then starts again! Magic? <grin> Yep, it just reboots on its own. Yes, I am sure I had the "Shutdown" button checked and not the "Restart." Has anyone had this happen to them? I checked the registry and the "FastReboot" value is set to zero. I haven't a clue, unless there is some hardware switch going haywire or maybe the MB? Any ideas?
