Thought I mentioned this to you before Jeff; all tests show a
hardware firewall (at least what I use, DLink DI-704) has the
same results with or without a software firewall running at
test sites like GRC and the like, except for Symantec's
Security Check which showed better results with a software FW
running (Sygate or Outpost).  There was one other test (which
I sent you a few months back) that a hardware FW alone could
not past.  This was the IP Test from www.grc.com .  I only exe
Outpost when I'm at any "questionable" websites.  However I
now have it running always since that latest attack.
