Clint,
This may sound stupid, but try closing out the browser and doing something
else for a bit.  Clear your cache, remove any MS cookies and try again.
I'll lay money that IE is *remembering* the settings from your initial
visit.  
Speaking from *experience*, I've often gotten frustrated when I have my
browser set to not accept cookies and a site needs them, and after trying
forever to get in, I take break and do the above, only to get right in.
Just goes to show that when frustrated, we don't always think straight and
don't see the obvious answer?  ;)
