I use AnalogX's POW! sometimes to prevent these windows (it's free). (I also have Panicware's program) Between the two, it stops almost all windows. http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/pow.htm The nice thing is, I'll disable Popup Stopper sometimes when I'm on sites that I know have pop up windows that I need to open (like my bank, certain graphic art websites, etc.), and just run POW! to keep certain other windows closed.
