This is a question I'll bet everyone but me knows the answer to! Am using Office97 still, thru various hardware and software upgrades(thru Windows XP)--happily, I might add--but have always noticed what I believe to be a bug in which the Taskbar, though configured to Autohide, remains on top at bootup. I have to re-select the autohide option (which is still checked), or have found that I can Right-Click the Taskbar and pick the Refresh Icons option, to reactivate the Autohide feature each time.
