Thank you, Keith; you are right on mark. It's in the Mail folder, which is in 
C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\harold7(in my
case). The name of the file is Rules.dat (note the plural). It's interesting how you 
and many others on this list know details
like this. Seven years and it's the first time I ever heard of that file.

Follow-up Question (using Windows98) ... The above file has all the information. There 
is a shorter version in
C:\Windows\Application Data. Why is this file in the system? It's in another "mail" 
folder (looks like a duplicate of my real
mail folder) that is within folders within folders, etc. I'm not deleting Application 
Data; don't know why such an idea even
came into my head :) since I see, for example, M$ material including Internet Explorer 
and Quick Launch (QL is very important
to me). But what's the purpose of some apparent duplications of other folders and 
files within folders within folders in
Application Data? ... Harold
