Hello again, There is more than enough information online as to how to organize bookmarks; they all seem to deal with the mechanics. For most that is easy enough; you create, you drag, you place, you move, cut, copy, paste ... all that is not the problem. The problem is that for me there is an inverse relation between the neatness of my computer's files and my bookmarks. I can't even imagine anyone helping with this; someone would have to get into my head.
Over the years, the bookmarks have grown faster than the national budget and the truth is MOST I never look at ... they are just there. It's like junk accumulating in a closet. I have a choice of getting rid of any bookmark that I haven't accessed in the last five years (how about one year? one month?) or using some system (maybe something they do in the libraries). Is there any "template" for this kind of problem? Any suggestions for my exploding bookmarks other than going for psychiatric help? ... Harold ... and the weather report from NYC ... first it was too wet; now it is too hot (that's the Big Apple). ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
