There are ways of blocking a PC's IP with "proxy anonymizers" and still
have all functionality. One you can test out, but it won't work with many
sites until you pay. http://anon.free.anonymizer.com/ you can place a
FULL ENTIRE URL after that URL EXACTLY as you see it. That page will
refresh so you have to be fast.
These of course cost $ plus a monthly payment! There is also some places
that allow you to enter their proxy info in the LAN settings, and that
works at many sites, but it's VERY VERY slow. I would think there is a
firewall that could simply cloak/disguise your IP address all of the time.
If not, someone really needs to invent one or add this feature with
existing firewalls. BTW, this on a DSL connection I've been speaking of,
but it has a DYNAMIC IP....changes every few days.

I found (by accident) that with ZA (free) if I didn't have the access
defined for my router, I could not get out to the net. As
for the IP of the computer itself, usually, its an auto define and would be
difficult to stop. If it were defined, you may be
able to block it, but usually thats not the desired action, but instead to
get out to the net.
