Thanks Ben
Right the computer booted up first time with no OS into CD and it went
through the format then started to install.
It went through the install then rebooted and here my lack of experience
showed in that I let it boot up to CD again and it went into install and I
gave it another folder when asked..
When it went to restart I removed the CD and it booted via the hard drive .
However each I booted up it asked which OS I wanted to use. Both were XP Pro
I have now got rid of one on the face of it on advice by changing some start
up setting or other and deleting the first folder ie windows, the second is
called windo.
This is a true story, only the names have been changed to protect me.
Do I need to anything .....with he computer I mean.
THanks
John
