Yes, it means your cookie settings are too low. I covered this in more detail in my follow-up post. In IE6 it's in the "Privacy" tab, then slide it to "High". If you still don't have the red -, that means that msn.com is under your "trusted sites" zone and you should remove it. -Clint
God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Glenn Larkman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Clint, I tried going to the site and looking for the red "-" but cant find it anywhere on the page or my screen. Is this a result of of a setting in IE? I couldnt find anything that seemed to work in the tools/options section for IE. Any ideas? Thanks Glenn Larkman ----- Original Message ----- From: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" That browser is known to be form of spyware, and it's probably doing a lot more than that. I'd remove it and go with IE or Netscape. AdAware or SpyBot may not see it as spyware since they can't detect which programs/software are collecting personal data and sending it bask to MSN, and it may not be in their databases. -Clint ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry Browning" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For some reason when I try to close MSN 8 using XP Pro I hear the voice say "good bye" 3 times. Also when I try not to go on line with MSN and just close the sign on screen I have to close it 3 times. It is as if the modem is set for echo or something like that.
