Also, go to www.msn.com and check out the red "-" @lower right in IE denoting a blocked cookie. It may not be blocked on your PC if your settings are below "high", (mine are ALWAYS set to as high as possible without blocking all, as should everyone's). Double click the red minus sign then the click the URL, next click "summary" and check out what they do! It can't be copied and pasted anywhere so you'll just have go there and read it yourself. In short it states they "Collect personal data" by "unique identifiers" that "identify and INDIVIDUAL over time". Also, they "give this information to third parties", on and on and on. Pretty horrifying. I recommend everyone to place msn.com to your RESTRICTED website area so they can't put any tracking and spying cookies on your HD....and stay away from a scum site like that. -Clint
----- Original Message ----- From: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" That browser is known to be form of spyware, and it's probably doing a lot more than that. I'd remove it and go with IE or Netscape. AdAware or SpyBot may not see it as spyware since they can't detect which programs/software are collecting personal data and sending it bask to MSN, and it may not be in their databases. -Clint God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner Want to exchange links with us? http://OrpheusComputing.com ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry Browning" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For some reason when I try to close MSN 8 using XP Pro I hear the voice say "good bye" 3 times. Also when I try not to go on line with MSN and just close the sign on screen I have to close it 3 times. It is as if the modem is set for echo or something like that. Any ideas?
