Helene you are not making a lot of sense. If you downloaded it to your desktop, it should be right there where you can see it. I don't understand why you needed to use find files to locate it. Once you download it and saved it to your hard drive you then have to install it. You double click on the exe file and you get an installation program. Once that's finished, all you have to do is right click on whatever you want to delete and you will see a new option in the right click menu, "delete with wiping."
The more I think about it, maybe you should forget about BCwipe and just format your hard drive when you are ready to give the old computer away. Since it's just email and they aren't really state secrets that you are trying to get rid of, I think that would probably be easier. In response to your earlier question, I think you can install just the Anti-viru* part of system works. You don't need go back. WinXP has it's own version called system restore. I know you are excited about the new computer.
