PCWorkers, I am Running XP Home edition. I have had the blaster virus and
run the fix it program and installed the patch but I have been left with an
annoying message which is delivered by my free antivirus package AVG. It is
delivered only if I leave my machine idle for half an hour or more. I don't
appear to have any other residual problems. I get a 'no viruses found'
message if I run AVG over my C drive and D partition. I have tried unhiding
my system files and running over AVG with a negative result. I can locate in
windows explorer the system volume folder referred to when system files are
unhidden but I am denied access and it states that there are no files in the
folder. Message reads: AVG Resident shield: Virus Virus identified
Worm/Lovsan.A Is found in file C:\System Volume
Information\_restore{5AA24743-8A4C-4B68-9740-F28CFC89031B}\RP18\A0001386.exe
To remove this virus, please run AVG for Windows OK Any advice would be
appreciated. Sylvia
