Hello again,

Keith, that's an interesting window that I never looked at. Looking at it I see what 
looks like all the programs on my computer listed there, and then some. I was about to 
ask how it is used but then realizing that we all have to take some initiative in 
researching our own questions, I went to Help, Index, Applications, and "Handling 
different file types", and there's enough to read there to keep me busy tonight. 
Thanks for
the lead. And thanks everyone else for taking in interest in a problem that fixed 
itself.

Regarding the "MS Word attachments in email problem," you also suggest changing from 
Netscape 4.79 to 7.1 ... you might be right; just that old habits die hard. I have it 
on my system, even in the quick launch tray, but I'm so accustomed to looking at 4.79. 
It's like looking at my wife; improvements are possible but the view becomes a habit. 
Anyway, I'll give it a try.... Harold
