Hi folks,

I have obtained an Artec CD Writer CD-RW with "Just Link" technology. It
is used and has no hardware or manuals, so I need a bit of advice from
someone familiar with this writer. Most optical drives have 3 jumpers for
setting the CSL / Master / Slave, but this drive has no jumpers installed,
although it does have the jumper connectors. It also appears that instead
of the usual CSL, Master, Slave settings, it has only two setting
connectors with the middle missing, in this configuration : | :
I assume it leaves out the CSL, but I don't know.

I want to install it as the Master drive on the secondary IDE connector,
running under Win98 SE.

The specs are:
CD Writer
24x 10x 40x
Model WRA - OA4O.

Also, does WIN98 have the drivers in the database, or do I need to get the
drivers?

Roger
