There are a few ways. Quickest is just run MSCONFIG at the run command in windows, then in the toolbar under 'tools' you'll see the IE repair tool. That's going from memory, so keep that in mind. ;-) (BTW, That didn't work for me when I had the problem). -Clint

Rick -----Original Message----- I don't use Outlook, I use OE on XP Pro. I had a similar problem and the only way I could fix it was to backup my inbox, then go to where the inbox file was stored and delete it, restart the PC, then restore my inbox. You may have to do this if the "inbox repair tool" doesn't fix the problem. Meantime you may want to try the IE repair tool until someone can tell you where the inbox repair tool is. -Clint ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dr. Rick Gillespie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Good morning, all. I'm using Win98 with Outlook for my email program. I can receive and send emails just fine. However, whenever I try to delete an email I get the following window: "Errors have been detected in the file C:\WINDOWS\localsettings\applicationdata\microsoft\Outlookoutlo ok.pst. Quit all mail-enabled applications and then use the inbox repair tool". I haven't been able to find an "inbox repair tool". I tried to run "detect and repair" but it asks for the Office 2000 Small Business cd. However, that only pops up a window saying the download was not successfull. I'm at a loss. Any idea what I need to do? Thanks Rick Gillespie ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
