Also, Helene, someone wrote me from that other list to suggest you write to Michael Dell himself and tell him of your troubles. Someone else wrote to say that they accidentally dialed someone "higher up" than techs at Dell and got great service--everything wrong was quickly made right. I wish they could have told me what number they dialed! :-<
Also, refresh my memory what state you are in...There are others on the list who expressed interest in building you a computer to your specs--they just want to remind you that a private tech may not be able to charge you as little as you may have spent on your Dell, but I know you mention that you spent a good amount of money on that machine anyhoo... You'll have a computer that ROCKS before Christmas, if I have anything to do with it!
