I finally found out how to set MSN Mail as the default email program and then I went back to the site mentioned in the thread and it works correctly.

Both can't be the default. If you ONLY use MSN and you want it to be the default, then you can't have OE also as the default and you should have said "no" to its prompt. Then you have to go into the MSN properties and make it the default handler for shortcuts so OE won't pop up again asking for that info. It may not be the default, or, the only reason you're being asked that is because your email program is not yet setup for that function. It's not the site that's asking for that info, it's your computer's email program. If you have before sent and received email from your email program, then it's obviously setup, but probably not the default. If you have NOT, then it's asking for that info because it never had it and must have it to send and receive email. This used to happen to me years ago before I used OE. By Windows default, anytime you click a link of any kind, IE or OE handles it. If you don't have OE setup, it's going to open up and ask for the server information. I checked my msn browser and I think it uses OE 6.0 which I found to be POP3 and I also think the email is routed thru hotmail. Don't much more about the system from there. I know that when I received email I get a little popup telling me how many emails I have and then it slowly starts downloading them. I use a modem as that is my only choice.
