I am not sure. You would have to get a hold of Symantec Tech Support for that. In my case, I already had another cloned hard drive for the affected computer that had been previosly cloned using Drive Copy. I had just received the Norton System Works 2003 Professional Edition and was curious to see how Ghost worked. In fact, I was too anxious and did not read the instructions fully before attempting it. So for me, it was no big deal as I had a contingency in place.
