I get a custom 404 page that says: "HTTP 404 - File not found The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." They don't have a site search, so I can't search for the page you speak of.
You mentioned something like it kept you from getting certain emails, which leads me to believe it has to be in the system tray and or running to be able to do that. Thanks for the info.....now if we can only find the download. ;-) Oh well, I looked for them on Google and found this; http://www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareguard.html and http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html I guess that's them. Thanks. -Clint God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Helene Leavitt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi Clint. Yes, both programs are free.. I just clicked on the link..(see below) and it works.. it takes you to a page. then to Javacools Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard.. I'm not sure about.. the running all the time.. cause it says. you have to go to it for updates.. so I think it's more like ad-aware and spybot.. Also, when you click, to dis-allow.. all the spyware. that "can" come onto your computer..(in Spyware blaster.. You'll see you wont get all the nonsense that we all get.. daily.. all those pesky emails.. I have found it.."so far". to be very good. Helene http://www.net-integration.net/cgi-...=ST;f=38;t=3051 . On this page you will find links to Javacool's SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard. Get them both and check for updates frequently. The Immunize feature in Spybot used in conjunction with SpywareBlaster , SpywareGuard and weekly scans with Spybot and Adaware will go a long way toward keeping your PC free of these pests..
