to enter a new code, which they will give you to enter. However, I find that the code
doesn't work and one will probably need to call the FREE MS Customer Service,
and tell them that you changed systems and Customer Service will give you a new code to enter.
I have had to call and reactivate my XP systems several times each as I often change
out my CPU, HD, MB, etc., and also I do a reformat and clean install and this will send an
alert and trigger an reactivation alert which is no problem.

I registered the product with Microsoft as required with the product a half of year ago.
I just recently sold the labtop but I still have the Win XP software. Now that I used it for a while on the labtop I feel I can be safe to use it on my home PC.
My question is if I install it on my home PC will I have to repurchase the product again to register it on my home PC? Does any one know if I will have a problem when I install it on my PC and register it with Microsoft as required to run the product? Or can I just install it on my home PC and register it and not expect a problem registering the product?
