Have you run defrag lately? Might be a good idea with all the stuff you
have been doing to your system especially if you didn't do it before you ran
the conversion.

You know, when you restore an image, you'll end up back at FAT32.

Subject: RE: PCWorks: NTFS

I have just converted my primary C: drive to NTFS using Partition Magic
8.0.The cluster size was automatically set to 4 kilobytes. The OS appears to
be operating OK, although prior to this my computer seems to have been
slowed down dramatically. Launching some programs seem to be taking ages to
load. The recent Norton upgrade was listed as a possible culprit so I
followed their advice on how to fix it. Didn't seem to help much. Some time
soon I will restore a previous image and hope this corrects the slowdown.

Thanks,

Alan Priol
