Hello again ... HP Computer 3+ years old, 30 gig hard drive, Windows 98... You just taught me a great deal. Not what the big Donald calls a "deal" but nevertheless, a great deal. 1) I never knew that the original config.sys file was so unnecessary, 2) that it is so easy to create a config.sys file with Notepad, 3) that Notepad is such a powerful file as to be able to create these strange files (I always knew Notepad was useful in creating html files; First Page is more useful if I ever learn to use it), and 4) that in saving a file, one can put the entire path into the "File name" box and it then bypasses the "Save in" box, and goes directly to the target of that path (and without passing "Go" but then I don't collect $200). Eight years on the computer and this is all new to me.
Next question is ... how do I access that BIOS? ... Harold From: "Jorge D.
