Bram,
Been there, done that. What I wound up doing was deleting all the network
drivers, etc., from each computer and reinstalling them. I am assuming you
are working with a Linksys. Somewhere in the bowels of the registry or the
driver files, somthing got tweaked that should not have been. Neat thing is,
if you print out all your settings, or write them down, the worst thing that
will happen is you spend a hour or more reinstalling the drivers and making
sure things are cleaned up. Best case (it worked for me) is that suddenly
the whole network functions again.

If not Linksys, check to see if you have WEP enabled. If so, try reentering
the codes in the correct field (you should have four fields, only one of
which matters. I don't know why a WEP can go bad, without showing any sign
of being wrong, but it happens.

I agree with the other posters. XP handles networking much better. I am glad
I switched on most of my computers.
