Babs,

I am wondering how using a LARGE ram disk would work - one (or two) that
eat up the 512 Megs of ram would be what I would need, to eliminate the
excess ram being available.

This was another idea I had but not sure if it would work either.

Then, if it would do the trick, the problem comes of finding a program
which would eat up that amount of ram, to do the job.

As far as moderation, generally Marlene does not get directly involved
unless there is some over riding reason for her to do so - things
getting out of hand on select subject would seem to be the type of
situation where that would be the issue.

So would seem the issue with your getting messages back would be more
related to issues with your ISP rather than the list itself.
