(Name?) you're not giving enough info. What's the camera brand? What's the software brand? I think the first logical course of action would be to contact the camera and software manufacturer. However, all you have to do is paste that line "incompatible version of the rpc" into any search engine and it will tell you what's going on. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q321915 http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318943 http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108188 http://support.installshield.com/kb/view.asp?articleid=q105810 http://www.winguides.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=brdIE&Number=90141&page=19&view=collapsed&sb=5&part=all
If things like that don't help, then I'd ask the camera and software manufacturer first. -Clint God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ) ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I just purchased a new digital camera as a fathers day gift, upon installing the software I get the error message "incompatible version of the rpc stub, setup will now terminate".I can't install the software or the drivers, the computer operating system is Windows 98se with 512 mb of ram,I also tried to install it on my daughters Window XP computer, got the same error message.I looked in windows help there is no reference to this error...grr!
