Thanks Roger but the problem appears to be that windows\temporary internet files will not let you copy to it. It asks are you sure you want to copy to this zone. Then nothing happens.

I then selected all the files in that folder and right clicked on the selection. I then selected copy. I then went to another folder on another drive and opened it. I then right clicked in the folder and selected paste. It asked me if i want to copy, etc. I said yes and job done. I then went back to the cookies folder and found they were still there.
