Subject: PCWorks: Windows media player...burning...

Good day folks..
Got my daughter an MP3 player for Christmas, but having trouble converting
CD's to MP3. She has Win98 on
her computer. I've seen some software for sale that does this, but also
found out Media player on my XP
laptop will do this for free...
If I upgrade her computer to Win2000, can I install Media Player 9.0(I think
that's the newest), or do I
need XP?
Thank you.
Jeff
