I asked because there's another program called "Easy Clean". As for your odd characters, I think we touched on that before. This list is plain text only so any HTML "or rich text" formatting, or anything that is not just plain text is lost and converted to something else. -Clint

If you need it, Hugh gave a link which I am using to upgrade the one I have. And that coding that showed up in my posting looks nothing like what shows in the sys file (which I opened in txt). To duplicate the ten small characters in that code, I would have to go through Character Maps galore to find them. It certainly does not look like this: ft Corporation.4=_o~ Interesting that I went to take another look at those C:\dblspace.bin and C:\drvspace.bin files (and those were only an example of duplicates) and the content changed. Instead of 10 characters in each, there are 20 times those. Another mystery of the computer! Questions 4 and 5, just out of curiosity, why did they change and how does one get those strange characters into a PCWorks posting? John says I have some spermatozoon floating around in my computer. I'll be damned if I have those little swimmers around. Maybe on my keyboard but that 's another matter ;-). As an aside, they say there are more germs found on the average doorknob than in any other place in the home; I'm sure y'all know that.
