I am still trying to learn to use XP (not sure I like it though) and was
wondering if there is something comparable to Windows Explorer in XP so you
can see your files in a tree type format? I have yet to find it and it makes
working with some of this stuff ungainly. Also, is there anyway to get
something like the Office Toolbar in Office 2003? I used that a lot in Office
98 and really miss it.

Thanks,

Cindy,

Windows Explorer is still there. XP opens to a different directory. You need to poke around until you find the C: drive--use the "broken up arrow, once you find WE.

Someone on one of these lists told me how to have it open to the C: drive. I'm sure someone here can tell you. I don't remember. I pulled a shortcut to Win Explorer off onto my toolbar. Once you find it, that might be helpful for you.

The way I see the problem is that Windows has dumbed itself down, thinking it's making it easier for people to understand. I believe what they've done is to prevent people from understanding how their computer is organized and how it really works.
