PCWorks: CD ROM and hard drive on same controller

I currently have a c drive divided into 4 partitions(c,f,g,h). A d drive. 
Both on the first controller. I have  cd rom(e drive) on the second 
controller. Can I add another hard drive as a slave on the second 
controller?
