I changed the path as you indicated, took me awhile to figure it out but
it works. My question is, I end up in the same place as when I go thru
Windows Update. I do not understand the advantage of doing it this way.
M$ still has to check my computer and tell me what I have to download or
update.

Larry if you don't want to do that, just make a shortcut to it
and place the shortcut on your QL toolbar. You can find it
under "Administrative tools" in the Programs menu. Then drag a
shortcut from that.
