PCWorks: Music question

I have RealPlayer and ITunes and my question is if I download music that 
is ACC protected is there a way to change the format to MP3? So far I 
can't find a way and I guess the only thing I must do is before I 
download change my settings to MP3 encode for importing a song. The 
problem is that I use both MP3 and Ipod which is another different format.
