You'll just have to look in the options of each of them and see if any of them have any features to remove or set to default things such as toolbars. I covered the icon issue in my post, but I don't see it below. -Clint
God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://www.OrpheusComputing.com http://www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com http://Computer-Hardware-Sales-Consumer-Electronics-Sales.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harold B." Good question. I've been using the following cleaners for a long time now but this problem only recently started. I use Advanced WindowsCare2, BeClean, Windows' Disk Cleanup, HDValet, MRU Blaster, Space Odyssey, (all freebies) and on my own, periodically empty the Prefetch folder. Possibly I checked or unchecked something that is removing that check mark next to QL. Thing is, I'll never know what it was. If I wanted to be perfectly accurate with whatever I do in configurations, I'd keep a record of every move I make (a pain in the neck thing to do). I'm very careful with deletions, keeping a "hold" folder on the desktop with a record of wherever I removing files from, etc., but with checks and unchecks I've been careless lately. The muse of computers might be angry with me for such flippant behavior. Btw, for clarity we'll talk about the desktop icons all lining up on the left side of the screen after rebooting,.in another posting with it's own subject line. I only mentioned it here thinking on a long shot the two matters might be related. --- Harold > From: Clint ...
