you can suspect something changed in libquicktime interface
but i have no jaumty here...
you can try to record in theora format
with pdp_theorout~,
after all it will be already compressed
as you want and ready to publish on the web

either. A quick workaround fix would be greatly appreciated, if
one is possible. Or am I missing something really obvious?
