i read somewhere, that gcc-4.2 was one of the most buggy gcc releases and the branch was closed with over 100 p1 regressions. neither 4.3 nor 4.4 has any open p1 regression ... hth, tim -- [email protected] http://tim.klingt.org May music never just become another way of making money. Keith Tippett
