Yup. Use Ctrl-T to open a Textbox. You can paste your clipboard first
into that textbox. Clicking the 'send' button writes the text to the
currently selected object or comment or message.
I just tried this and I get this in the console:
error: .text1.text: no such object
and nothing in the comment box
